Mr. and Mrs. Paulsen Jr.

Over Labor Day weekend, Ben and I traveled to sunny San Diego to celebrate the marriage of my brother, Dave, to Christine. It was a fabulous weekend! The wedding was beautiful and a great time was had by all! We are so happy to have Christine as part of our family. It was a lot of fun to see so many relatives and friends as well during the festivities that we haven't seen in such a long time.
Along with the wedding festivities, we managed to do a little sightseeing in the area with my folks, including Point Loma and SeaWorld. I have to say that SeaWorld was a whole lot more interesting that I thought it was going to be. Since it was my birthday, I got to choose how to spend the day, and it turned out to be SeaWorld's lucky day. My folks, John and Judy Hummel (family friends), and Ben humored my decision.... but I think that they had fun as well. We sat in the "Soaker Zone" for Shamu, saw dancing dolphins, walked at least 10 miles around the park, and ended up in the free beer garden. It was a great day.
